Compliance & Performance Analyst

This role is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the Remote Communities compliance obligations. The successful candidates will be influencing and driving compliance matters across the Division through collaboration, provision of advice, and support in accordance with the framework.

This position is an 18-month maximum term contract.

Your role will include:

  • Designing and implementing the Remote Communities compliance framework.
  • Collaborating with other corporate framework owners to assess current and proposed suitable mitigations to compliance requirements.
  • Developing, maintaining and managing the execution of the annual compliance and assurance program relevant to the Remote Communities program
  • Providing compliance advice and support as the subject matter expert relevant to Remote Communities workstreams
  • Co-ordinating regulatory compliance reporting across Horizon Power to ensure Horizon Power's reporting obligations are met.

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in either Law or Commerce/Business is mandatory.
  • Strong working knowledge of compliance, risk, governance, and/or assurance methodology
  • Significant relevant commercial and professional experience specialising in legal, compliance, risk or assurance work.
  • Experience in a demanding professional role within a complex organisation such as a professional services (legal or consulting) firm or a large corporation.
  • Ability to interpret and apply complex policy and legislation.
