The Role

Conduct project Performance and earned value management activities for Luerssen Australia to ensure that the project's objectives are met in terms of integrated Schedule and Cost Control and participate in tracking and reporting the project's deliverables and targets.

Contribute to continuous improvements on the integrated project controls processes and systems in a manner that supports Luerssen Australia’s internal requirements as well as those of their contracts.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining the Earned Value Management System for the project
• Assist and contribute to promote an EVM culture within the project team.
• Preparation of Monthly Performance and Earned Value Reports for internal review.
• Assist CAMs of allocated Control Accounts with monthly monitoring, analysis and reporting of actuals and forecast cost (EAC).
• Maintaining project performance change control (Baseline Change Management).
• Perform EVM month end in Cobra.
• Perform variance analysis process and identify project performance issues and trends.
• Maintain and undertake Sub-Contractor reconciliation.

Requirements

• Relevant Tertiary qualifications in Project Management (Desired), Finance or Accounting
• Certification in EVM (Desired)
• Sound understanding of Project Cost management principles, tools and techniques.
• 3+ years of experience in Project Cost and performance management
• 1+ year in Earned Value Management or Project Cost/schedule analysis role
• Prior experience in Defence projects (Desired)
• Cobra experience desirable
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Exposure to project accounting software like Cobra or similar
• Experience of using EVM in Planning packages such as Open Plan, Primavera (Desired)
• Advanced MS Excel skills and conversant with other Microsoft Office Applications
• Excellent analytical skills
• Demonstrated problem solving abilities
