- The salary range for this position is $77,223.52 - $82,594.58 gross per annum, plus 17.5% annual leave loading and up to 12.65% superannuation.
- This is a permanent full-time position based at the Clifton and Pittsworth Depot.

- A combination of experience, qualifications, and competence in all aspects of to civil construction. Including but not limited to:
- Road construction from earthworks to seal.
- Works on different pavement types, eg asphalt and unbound pavement
- Rural & Urban drainage.
- Extensive experience in heavy plant operations.
- Set up & use of level controls / lasers
- Knowledge of IMS Systems including MRTS.
- Set out and preparation of concrete slabs, footpaths, pram ramps etc.
- Installation of concrete pipes, pits and culverts and drainage infrastructure.
- Forming and pouring of headwalls and end structures;
- Ability to interpret plans and standards.
- WH&S Competency Card for CPCCWHS1001 – Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
- Current ‘C’ Class Drivers Licence.
- Certificate III and IV in Civil Construction is desirable but not mandatory. If not held, there may be a requirement to obtain these qualifications within an agreed timeframe.
- Proven ability to manage, supervise, and provide leadership to a small team undertaking civil construction and maintenance activities.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements relevant to civil construction and a demonstrated ability to acquire knowledge of programs, policies, and activities.
- Competence in the use of computer software systems including the capacity to effectively use email and ability to acquire the skills to use Council specific software solutions.
- Excellent organisational and planning skills in managing competing priorities in a busy work environment, and capacity to set priorities and work to deadlines.
