Exciting Opportunity at Acciona - East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Plant Fixed-Term Role until End of Year. Join Acciona and take on a pivotal role as a Construction Manager at our East Rockingham Waste-to-Energy Plant project. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of engineering works, ensuring project delivery from inception to completion while meeting client and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, and safety procedures, with a focus on integrating resources effectively.
- Oversee project safety plans and drive commitment to quality and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage project finances, including budgets, profit/loss forecasting, and financial performance monitoring.
- Coordinate project scheduling, progress monitoring, and reporting activities.
- Lead and supervise project resources, ensuring effective teamwork and adherence to contract requirements.
- Implement project procurement programs and manage subcontractor performance.
- Collaborate with design managers to oversee project design and program development.
- Foster open communication and positive team dynamics among project personnel and subcontractors.
Skills and Competencies:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and effective communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental requirements in construction/engineering.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a construction/engineering environment.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively and manage projects effectively.
