About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Construction Manager to lead and deliver projects for our key clients. Reporting to the Operations Manager. You will be will responsible for the safe and successful delivery of the portfolio of projects assigned to individual project managers.
Your role will be responsible for:

• Ensuring the safety of the field teams including management of SWMS and JSAs.
• Ensuring the cost effectiveness of each project through regular cost-to-complete processes and regular reporting.
• Leading and coaching field teams to successful outcomes, taking a hands-on approach.
• Managing client relationships and expectations.
• Timely procurement of materials, equipment and subcontractors.
• Interpretation and analysis of drawings, specifications and standards and communicating relevant points as needed to both internal and external stakeholders.

Essential skills for this role include:

• Demonstrated experience delivering various projects of budget and complexity in the electrical and communications sector.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills.
• Strong stakeholder (internal & external) management skills
• Unwavering commitment to electrical standards, regulations and safe work practices.
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment, playing an active senior role within the broader team.
• Empathetic leadership style with a growth mindset and composed under pressure.

Required Qualifications

• Project management qualification or similar but not essential
• Current Queensland Electrical Workers Licence
• Construction Safety White Card
• Current C Class Drivers' Licence (manual)

Advantageous Qualifications

• Communications and Data Cabling Licence with endorsements
• High Risk Work Licence, including EWP and Scissor
• Working at Heights Certificate
• Experience with SimPro or similar operating systems
