This is an opportunity for an experienced and motivated Operations/Construction Manager to lead the team in delivering excellence in TMR and RMS projects across government, private, and resource sectors. With a focus on quality, safety, and innovation, our client takes pride in shaping communities and driving progress.
Position Overview:
As the Construction Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the execution of projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving operational efficiency, fostering a culture of excellence, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and inspire a team of project managers, engineers, and support staff to achieve project objectives with excellence.
- Strategically plan and manage project resources to optimize outcomes.
- Implement and enforce rigorous safety protocols and quality control measures to uphold industry standards and mitigate risks.
- Cultivate strong relationships with clients, government agencies, and industry partners to foster collaboration and secure new business opportunities.
- Analyse project performance metrics and financial data to identify areas for improvement and drive operational efficiency.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices to inform decision-making and maintain competitive advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within the civil contracting industry, with a track record of successfully delivering TMR and RMS projects.
- Strong understanding of government regulations, industry standards, and project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
