About the role:
We have a rare opportunity for an experienced Construction or Operations Manager to join our company to manage the New Installation & Modernisation operations for the WA region. As the successful candidate you will be responsible for driving consistent and reliable financial performance, business growth and manage labour costs whilst ensuring the delivery of all contracts on time and on budget. You will be involving in managing key customer relationships, with the ability to understand and act upon customer needs and managing a team of approximately 40. You will also be responsible for building and promoting safe behaviour and culture within your team.
The successful candidate will be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with strong leadership, business management and communication skills.
This role will be ideally suited to an experienced Construction Manager / Operations Manager or a highly experienced Project Manager looking to step up.
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated experience in a similar role within the Lift, Construction, HVAC, Fire, Security, Electrical or similar industries.

Key Accountabilities:
- Ensuring delivery of all contracts on time and on budget
- Sign off authorities to commence works (ACW).
- Conduct monthly mini-cost reviews with Project managers.
- Ensure that jobs are accurately forecasted regularly and facilitate effective reviews.
- Maintaining relationships with key customers
- Ensuring 100% compliance with QA procedures
- Building and maintaining an effective project management support team
- Performance management of both programs and people
- Driving and promoting safe behaviour and culture.
Requirements for the role:
- Experienced working as a Construction Manager / Operations Manager or a highly experienced Project Manager looking to step up, within the Lift, Construction, HVAC, Fire, Security, Electrical or similar industries
- Excellent leadership and business management skills
- A strong commitment to safety, quality, environment and customer relationships
- Strong previous people management experience, particularly with unionised workforces
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal with demonstrated skills in contract negotiation and customer management.
