Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage Construction Projects from inception to delivery for Auta Group in the Adelaide region. This role encompasses managing pre-construction stages, ensuring projects progress smoothly, and overseeing successful completion within set timeframes and budgets.
Responsibilities:
- Report to managing director about project documents, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Create and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and identifying potential delays or issues throughout the pre-construction and construction stages.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and authorities, to ensure alignment and clear communication.
- Manage project documentation, including approvals, contracts, drawings, and reports, while also organizing and archiving records for future reference.
- Facilitate service abolishment and demolition for new sites, managing builder portals for electricity and gas services, including new connections and terminating accounts at practical completion.
- Supervise the procurement of construction materials and equipment, ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Track project costs and expenditures to ensure completion within budget.
- Communicate promptly with contractors, subcontractors, and clients regarding requirements and work progress.
Requirements:
- At least 6+ years of experience in the construction industry, with 4+ years in Construction Project management.
- A bachelor's degree relevant to construction or engineering management.
- Excellent time management and leadership skills, with flexibility to work on modified schedules and alternate hours to meet project deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in computer operations, including Microsoft Office, email, and other relevant applications.
- Strong learning and adaptability skills, with the ability to work under high-pressure environments.
- Experience in high-rise building project management is preferred.
