Position Overview:

As our Content & Social Media Marketing co-ordinator, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our online presence through many different forms of content.

Content strategy -

• With a passion for creating content, you will help develop a calender and execute on the strategy that increases traffic, improves engagement and ultimately helps drives sales

• Produce high-quality, error-free, written content for various marketing channels, including blogs, website copy, email campaigns, Social Media, and more that adheres to our brand guidelines

• Be a travel insurance expert and manage and optimise existing content for SEO across multiple brands, ensuring we build guides that are authoritative, in-depth, and rank highly in search engines

• Implement SEO best practices to enhance the visibility of our content in search engines

• Stay updated on industry trends, customer insights, and competitors to inform and identify new content opportunities

• Analyse the performance of content using relevant metrics and optimise to improve results

Social Media -

• Develop and implement a Social Media growth strategy to increase our followers and engagement on Tiktok and Instagram

• Create engaging content including reels, stories and posts on Instagram and Tiktok that resonate with our target audience. Inhouse creation as well as utilising an agency

• Monitor trends and stay up-to-date with TikTok trends and algorithm changes

• Execute promotional campaigns aimed at acquiring new customers and increasing our market reach

Brand awareness -

• Propel the 1Cover brand by spearheading pop-up activations and merchandising initiatives

• Enter us into awards to elevate our brand's visibility within the industry

Analytics and Reporting -

• Monitor content updates and provide regular performance reports
• Use data-driven insights to refine strategies and optimise performance

Qualifications/ Skills:

• A passion for travel
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
• Exceptional writing skills with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse writing styles and formats
• Experience in SEO, CRO, and content management systems
• A Social Media expert. Proven success in running organic Social Media campaigns and familiarity with scheduling tools and analytics platforms
• A good understanding of Tiktok trends, what works, Gen z
• Proven experience in managing Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok accounts and growing followers
• Experience working collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies
• A proactive, “get it done” attitude with the ability to go multi-task and go live quickly
• Attention to detail and proficiency in market research
• Basic HTML beneficial but not a pre-requisite
• Proficient in Canva, Photoshop or other creative suites
