SalaryConsultANZ is looking for a Contract Administrator to work with our reputable civil construction client in Brisbane.
MAIN DUTIES:
As the Contracts Administrator, you would be responsible for;
- Resolve critical issues throughout the project life-cycle
- Ensure compliance with all procurement policies and procedures
- Management feedback on issues both real and anticipated
- Assist in preparing general commercial support
- Ad hoc tasks from the Commercial Manager
- Maintain registers of variations and claims, delays, and instructions, and use this information to build formal claims.
- Educational background in Quantity Surveying, Contract Administration, or a related field from a tertiary institution.
- A preference for hands-on experience in civil, electrical, and transmission projects.
- Willingness to commit to a project assignment approximately 18 months from now.
- Proficiency in managing intricate situations and displaying effective problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership qualities.
- Prior experience with a respected Main Contractor is advantageous.
- Competence in using software applications like MS Office Suite.
- You must be willing to travel to the project site.
- $70-90k base salary + Super (negotiable dependent on level of experience)
