Botany Access has Sydney's largest privately owned fleet of access equipment for hire including a wide range of scissor lifts, elevated work platforms, scaffolding, cherry pickers, forklifts and telescopic handlers that can help with any access and material handling needs onsite.
Due to an increase in our scaffold subsidiary entity, Botany Access are currently seeking a Contract Administrator to work full time for our associated company Botany Scaffold Pty Ltd.
The Role: Contract Administrator
Employment Type: full time contract
Remuneration: Attractive remuneration commensurate to experience. Salary range $70,000 to $90,000 excluding superannuation.

Responsibilities
The role is focused on administering client contracts and implementing processes to ensure the smooth running of project administration and fleet requirements up to project completion. Required to continuously review processes, procedures and standard documents to maximise efficiency and minimise risk. You will be a subject-matter expert providing responsive and accurate advice to client enquiries about contractual obligations and revisions.
Duties
Examine contracts and compile key contractual points (time bars, progress claims, regulatory conditions on access equipment and operations
Communicate contract conditions to site supervisors and operatives to ensure they clearly understand parameters and scope of contracts – what is included/what is excluded
Prepare, monitor and update spreadsheets, flow charts and procurement schedules to maximize fleet capabilities and profitability and to ensure contracts are let on time
Arrange permits and any required authority permits to ensure regulatory requirements are adhered to
Accurately separate budgets into relevant accounting codes to ensure responsible budget management and revisions
Source sub-contractors in conjunction with management as needed
Prepare letting scope and procurement agreements related to subcontractors and suppliers including ensuring sub-contractor obligations are clearly understood and carried out
Prepare and submit contract variations to clients
Provide responsive and accurate advice to enquiries on contractual obligations and revisions
Approve invoices in conjunction with management and finance section
Prepare monthly cost reports for review by management
Document control, including visiting site to document progress and ongoing contractual milestones for records
Escalate noncompliance where needed to minimise risk
Ensure proper handovers are undertaken at the end of contracts
The Successful candidate will ideally possess the following skills and knowledge:
Diploma level qualification or at least 3 years of relevant experience
Knowledge of construction scaffolding industry practices
High level of attention to detail and strong numerical skills
Extremely organised and able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
Good negotiation skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships
Knowledge of different types of scaffolding Inc. tube & fit and modular
Knowledge of scaffold platforms
