The Role
An opportunity exists for a Contract Administrator to join our team to deliver a wide variety of projects in fitout and refurb space.

The successful candidate will manage the engagement with and procurement of contractors to undertake the scope of works as part of the overall delivery of project for our clients. You will be part of a team of which you will collaborate with to ensure the overall successful delivering of a project in accordance with contractual obligations, legislation and Melrose policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Construct and manage the procurement register as required to meet project schedule
- Work cohesively with the Project Manager & Site Manager to ensure procurement is completed as required to meet the project schedule
- Undertake and manage the contractual engagement of contractors
- Processing of monthly subcontractor claims
- Management of head & subcontract variations
- Delivery of projects safely, efficiently and effectively through meeting the project success criteria’s of stakeholder relationships, time, cost, quality, safety and process compliance
- Provide practical solutions to daily on site challenges and obstacles
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a similar role preferred but not essential
- University qualification or similar will be highly regarded
- Experience using project software (ideally Jobpac, Hammertech, Procore, & MS Project) preferable but not essential
- Ability to communicate in a professional manner
- Preferred Design & Construct contractual experience
- Previous experience with commercial construction companies preferable
- Stability on your CV will be highly regarded
