The Role: Contracts Administrator

Catalpa is seeking an experienced Contract Administrator for reviewing, coordinating and administering our construction contracts.
This is a full-time role based in our Kings Park Road Office.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring that all contracts are accurate and relevant documentation is correct and updated when necessary.
- Developing plans to fit the schedule of works.
- Collecting and collating data for forecasting and planning purposes.
- Negotiating contract clarifications with clients.
- Review the Head Contract regarding all terms and conditions, scope of works, insurances, program, and other liabilities.
- Monitor and report on organisation and client performance against contract.
- Submit variation and progress claims and liaise with clients for variation approvals.
- Arrange subcontractors' contracts and assess their progress and variations claims.
- Assist with the establishment contractual/project related financial reports.
- Assist with the management of contractual disputes.
Role Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying.
- Experience working as a Contracts Administrator on Civil Construction and Mining projects.
- Experience in quantity surveying and estimating.
- Experience in tender processes and procurement.
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Sound financial and legal acumen.
