Contracts Administrator - Industrial New Build
Design & Build are searching for a quality Contracts Administrator to join our clients well established industrial new build team. Our client is well established nationally, and has an exciting project pipeline with repeat national customers. The successful applicant will be rewarded with a permanent position within a company that truly invests in your career and personal development.

To be successful in this role you will have over 5 years’ experience as a Contracts Administrator on industrial new build projects. You will have been exposed to projects between $15mill - $45mill. You should be able to demonstrate a proven track record of longevity with previous construction companies.

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Relevant Contracts Admin or Project Management experience
• Confidence in your abilities to communicate with Senior Management and subcontractors alike
• Autonomy to work individually and as a part of a team
• Understanding of construction practices and processes
• The ability to write a detailed scope of works
• Intimate knowledge of Qld Construction legislation
• Knowledge of environmental management responsibilities
• Experience with head contract and subcontract negotiation skills

Your Duties and Responsibilities

• Contractual dispute resolution
• Prepare subcontractor documents
• Monthly preparation and presentation of project reports
• Procurement; sourcing, negotiation and tracking
• Financial monitoring and planning
• Preparing and presenting progress claims
• Stakeholder engagement and management
• Adhere and value safety principles and practices
