Form of work The Midland Junction Alliance (MJA), an alliance comprising of McConnell Dowell, Georgiou Group, Arcadis and BG&E, is delivering the new METRONET Midland Station in Perth, Western Australia. METRONET is a multi-government agency created to oversee the expansion of Perth's metropolitan transport network. This project will oversee the decommissioning and demolition of a 53-year-old train station and the construction of a new station between Helena and Cale Street.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage subcontract accounts and commercial performance including review of payment applications and issuance of payment notices.
- Ensure that all subcontracts, supply and services contracts are procured, executed, delivered and closed out, in accordance with company commercial policies and guidelines.
- Undertake timely and accurate preparation of the monthly cost reporting and forecasting.
- Undertake the commercial aspects of contract negotiations and disputes with the Project Manager and Subcontractors as applicable.
- Preparation of progress claims for work completed in line with commercial and contractual arrangements.
- Identification, pricing and negotiation of variations to the contract.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications such as RICS desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to assess claims or variations by subcontractors against the quantity claimed, as well as against their contractual requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse contractual issues and provide and/or recommend solutions through appropriate problem-solving techniques.
- Knowledge and understanding of tendering and procurement processes.
- Knowledge and understanding of subcontract principles, together with the ability to draft and administer subcontracts.
