About Us:
Our Projects and Development Services (PDS) team provide corporate and institutional clients with the management of design, construction, and relocation services to minimise risk and eliminate unnecessary cost.
Projects range from greenfield developments to major fit-outs and refurbishments, from single one-off projects to state, national multi-site and regional roll-out projects requiring consistent nationwide delivery.
What this job involves
You will serve as the primary point of contact for all PDS Australia and New Zealand and assess the risks associated with contract terms and conditions and mitigation techniques (collaborating with legal and risk teams).
A snapshot of the role:
- Procurement
Streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness with vendor management and fostering supplier relationships. Point of escalation for the evaluation and negotiation of contracts with vendors.
- Value & Growth:
Identify opportunities for business growth and develop strategies to maximise value. Collaborate with PDS and the wider JLL business lines to identify potential partnerships or other growth opportunities.
- Commercial & Business Compliance:
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, legal requirements and internal policies. Stay up to date with regulatory changes and industry best practices to ensure compliance for PDS team.
- Digitization & Scalability:
Work with BI Analytics team to develop business operations dashboard to bring agility and transparency in operating performance reviews.
Sound like you? This is what we’re looking for:
You have proven experience in business models, client requirements, industry delivery and contracting models and are able to confidently review contracts and identify and minimize key risk to JLL business.
You understand the legal environment for each project in respect of planning, commercial aspects and delivery constraints and can carry out commercial negotiations with clients, contractors, suppliers, consultants and authorities within established limits of authority.
We need a strong communicator, who is able to advise and influence senior stakeholders across a diverse range of topics, coupled with sophisticated negotiating skills and able to partner with business, sales leaders, and vendors to achieve the best outcome for PDS when negotiating with Clients and other JLL businesses.
Highly detailed and always “leading by example” your commitment to successful change is long term and consistent – you can critically review risk, financial, contract, and sales information. Provides
A degree in a relevant legal discipline with other formal education and experience in Construction, Engineering or Project Management is desirable
