The Role
An outstanding opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Conveyancing Paralegal to join our team. Our practice covers a broad range of practice areas encompassing Property and Estate Law and will require you to operate within strict time constraints while managing competing priorities.
As a paralegal you will be required to provide support to our Solicitors and take delegation from them in these matters, however you will also be required to independently manage your own task list. You will be expected to use your own initiative in forward thinking and problem solving to ensure that all matters are progressed in a timely manner.

Tasks and Responsibilities
- Preparing documentation on residential and commercial matters on instruction from both the principal solicitor and directly from clients;
- Participation in business development and growth initiatives for the firm;
- Assisted management of some residential conveyancing matters, including off the plan purchases and sales;
- Client, bank/broker, agent and other legal representative interaction

Requirements
The successful applicant will ideally possess:
- 2 years minimum residential conveyancing;
- Experience in operating PEXA;
- A practical approach, with a willingness to learn and adapt our office processes;
- An ability to work independently and cohesively with our team;
- A willingness to build relationships and be client focused;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Strong time management and organisational skill;
- Ability to effectively manage competing and changing priorities, can work under extreme pressure and to due dates;
- A strong attention to detail and an eye for accuracy;
- Have a fantastic sense of humour and can-do attitude;
- Ability to manage electronic files; and
- Good presentation and telephone manner.
