Queensland Symphony Orchestra is seeking to appoint a Coordinator – Business Development to provide a high level of support to the partnership portfolio, to assist us in achieving our financial, event and relationship goals.
Your understanding of the importance of effective partnerships and supporter relationships, and your strong organisational and interpersonal skills will set you up for success.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the administration of the partnership portfolio
- Deliver and track partnership benefits through QSO’s Customer Relationship Management system, Tessitura (tickets, events, Things Money Cannot Buy, marketing)
- Provide support for research and the identification of leads for new partnership approaches
- Manage partnership Lead Sheet
- Update and create partnership proposals
- Prepare partnership reports and track the financial costs of contracts
- Reconcile accounts payable receipts and invoices
- Coordinate the administration of partnership communication and marketing
- Manage partnership assets on the QSO website
- Prepare approval documents for marketing and communication (internal and external)
- Deliver partnership and key QSO events, including guests lists, scheduling invitations, tracking RSVPs, nametags, catering, event design and venue hire
- Telephone potential corporate supporters for appointments and meetings, where required
- Provide administration assistance for Director – Development, where required
Essential Criteria
- Attention to detail is critical
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and all members of the organisation in the achievement of strategic objectives
- Advanced computer literacy across a range of software packages (Microsoft Excel and Tessitura highly desired)
- Ability to work independently and use initiative
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and emergent situations within conflicting deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of the organisation and with our patrons, partners, supporters and stakeholders
- Must have a positive attitude and enjoy working within a high performance team
Desirable criteria
- Commercial business acumen, or experience in a business environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications
- Current “C” Class Driver’s Licence
