About the Role:

 

Reporting to the Manager Communities within the corporate Communities and Social performance team, you will drive Social Investment outcomes and impacts, cultivating positive partnerships with community stakeholders.

 

Our Social Investment team is committed to building respectful relationships and making positive contributions within the communities where we are active. We are seeking a motivated and innovative Social Investment Adviser to join us in our Perth headquarters.

 

This role works closely with Corporate Affairs colleagues and Social Investment partnership focal points across the global portfolio. The role aims to drive best practice in Social Investment outcomes and impact and demonstrates expertise in partnership management and internal processes. The Corporate Affairs AdviserSocial Investment has strong communication, collaborative, and engagement skills both within Woodside and external stakeholders to enhance Woodside’s reputation.

Duties & Responsibilities:

 

  • Partnerships:
    • Responsible for allocated corporate partnerships. This includes developing Funding Agreements, establishing KPIs, reporting and evaluating existing partnerships and new opportunities.
  • Volunteering program:
    • Responsible for managing Woodside volunteering program, including key strategic relationships and support for the global volunteering program.
  • Workplace giving:
    • Responsible for managing Woodside workplace giving strategy and program
  • Governance:
    • Responsible for Benevity implementation (platform to support partnerships, grants, workplace giving and volunteering) and reporting (SME).
    • Support inputs to social contribution impact report
    • Coordinator of Social Contribution Working Group
    • RAP reporting focal point for social contribution
    • Responsible for managing budget related to partners
  • Reputation
    • Develop stakeholder engagement plans and communications plans and executive briefing notes where required.
    • Develop and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder holder relationships at executive level, across community partners, resource company peers etc.

Skills & Experience:

 

  • At least 2 years of community relations and / or Social Investment related experience.
  • Awareness of, and engagement with, community stakeholders.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work with a range of stakeholders to achieve results through influencing.
  • Experience managing budgets.
  • Understanding of systems and platforms to support community partnership management.
  • A passion for social contribution, volunteering, social performance and sustainability more broadly.
  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, journalism, marketing, politics, international relations, community development will be viewed favourably, or relevant experience.
