Gastronomy Group is looking for an experienced, passionate and creative chef to join our team working within our corporate client’s offices.
THE PERSON
We are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie who takes pride in creating beautiful food. You will display flexibility, creativity and adaptability and be capable of supporting the Head Chef in leading the team to design and produce a wide range of international and local cuisine for our client’s needs.
You will have previous experience within a premium restaurant environment leading and inspiring kitchen teams as well as excellent communication skills. The ability to think on your feet and juggle multiple things at once whilst upholding standards is essential. You will be highly organised, experience working across a range of cuisines and a passion for using local produce and suppliers.
THE ROLE
This position is based in our clients' corporate offices, you will support the head chef in the day to day running of the kitchen – designing, preparing and producing daily meeting and event menus to match our client’s needs.
Every day will include production, service and client interaction working closely with the front of house team to ensure an exceptional client experience.

MINIMUM CRITERIA
- 5+ years’ kitchen experience
- 1+ years’ experience in a hatted restaurant
- Chefs trade qualification
- Demonstrated broad knowledge of culinary styles, techniques and cuisines
- Basic level of computer skills - Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Intermediate level of written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated previous experience with proactive problem solving
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and autonomously
- Experience in communication with various skilled and unskilled employees
- WH&S awareness
