We are looking for a motivated person to join our team as a Credit Assistant based at our Head Office in Goondiwindi, QLD to support our Business throughout QLD, NSW, VIC and TAS.
Reporting to the Credit Team Leader based also in Goondiwindi you will be taking direction and supporting the functions of the Credit Department to achieve team goals.
Responsibilities of the role include however not limited to:
- Assess & approve credit applications
- Work with credit staff and manager for assessment of applications
- Lodge PPSR and handle enquiries
- Manage Debtor Insurance
- Opening and closing of staff accounts
- Maintenance of customer accounts
- Contacting customers with overdue amounts
- Monitoring and approving credit limits
- Produce reports to deadlines
- Communicate with multiple departments throughout the business
Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years in an Administration role
- Experience in Credit or debt collection is an advantage though not essential
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- IT Literate - Basic to intermediate MS Office with sound experience in Word/Excel and Annature
- Refined and mature phone etiquette
- Strong organisational skills
- Motivated to complete tasks without supervision
- Understanding different entity types.
