As a Customer Service Administration Assistant, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our customers are always greeted by a friendly staff member who can resolve their issues quickly and confidently.
Whilst experience in the building industry is not required, experience providing phone-based Customer Service or sales would be highly regarded.
Key areas of responsibilityCustomer Service
- Delivering exceptional Customer Service to internal and external customers via phone, email and chat bot, providing accurate and correct information promptly.
- Communicating in an engaging manner that is always a clear and concise delivery of the message.
- Building strong relationships with all internal and external customers.
- Resolving any issues in a timely manner.
Scheduling
- Co-ordinate all details for incoming jobs and end to end management of jobs from booking to completion.
- Assigning the correct personnel for each job and arranging the technicians' schedules for efficiency.
- Managing annual jobs and ensuring that they are completed within given timeframes.
Other tasks
- Proofreading incoming reports and sending them to clients.
- Providing support to on the road technicians.
- Following up on payments and job completion.
- Managing your daily workflow, prioritising urgent tasks
- Assisting with other administrative tasks as required.
This role is based at our Daisy Hill office. On site parking is available for all staff. This role is Part Time (25.5 hours per week).
About Local InspectionsLocal Building and Pest Inspections specialises in providing pre-purchase inspections to clients who are purchasing property. In addition, we provide other related building and timber pest inspections.

- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to cope under pressure.
- The drive to deliver outstanding Customer Service.
- The adaptability to work in an ever-changing environment.
- Sound problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Proven track record of reliable attendance to previous employment.
- Proven Customer Service experience with a track record of providing exceptional Customer Service at every opportunity is essential.
- Experience working in a phone-based role in Customer Service, support or sales would be highly regarded.
- Service M8 experience would be beneficial but not essential.
