THE ROLE
The Customer Service Coordinator is vital in providing quality service and delivery to customers. Ensuring the conversion from the sale to fulfilment process runs smoothly.
The role would involve quoting invoices based on customer requirements to notification of fulfilment E
Responsibilities would include
Telephone and showroom sales enquiries
Data processing - entry of general Sales Orders onto Computer System
Provide a link between customers and the timely dispatch of goods to meet their requirements, including the development of new/alternative business
Proactively communicate with Customers and internal Supply Chain to preemptively manage Customers' immediate and forward demand.
Ensure data related to sales orders is processed, managed and maintained correctly and in a timely manner.
Provide supplementary assistance, including customer intelligence, to the Australian Commercial Managers.
Maintain and service our existing clients with the view of developing a continuance of regular return sales.
Showroom maintenance and presenting to the marketplace a professional image and approach, to support and enhance our customers business activities.
Skills and experience should include
Demonstrated experience in proactive inbound sales/ Customer Service experience within manufacturing, supply chain or transport environment
Excellent Customer Service with demonstrated experience in verbal and written communication
Effective project/ supply coordination and administration skills
Understanding of supply chain principles highly regarded
Understanding of drawings, dimensions and measurements are highly regarded
Ability to use judgement to making quality decisions under pressure
Microsoft office - especially spread sheeting and use of ERP systems for quoting and invoicing ( SAP highly desirable)
Ability to meet deadlines and process of handling conflicting priorities
Creative and innovative solutions and presentation skills
Strong business acumen with analytical evidence to support
