Customer Service Manager - Garbutt
We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader to become a full time Customer Service Manager at our Garbutt store. You will be responsible for the overall management of the front end of a busy supermarket, including operations of checkouts. Your role will be tasked with ensuring that customer satisfaction is achieved through friendly service, excellent presentation, and efficiency. You will be responsible for the training of team members, to ensure that they are capable of using equipment, and providing a high level of service. You may be required to work a rotational roster which may include weekends and public holidays your leadership.
Essential Criteria
- High level of personal integrity and accountability for performance
- Customer service experience;
- Previous supervisory experience;
- Demonstrated ability to follow company policies and procedures;
- Cash handling experience;
- Intermediate level of computer skills;
- Basic understanding of WH&S and food safety requirements
- Able to communicate clearly and negotiate with people from different backgrounds and roles (such as suppliers, customers, or staff
- High level of literacy and numeracy skills (for example: ability to calculate hours, balancing cash register results, comprehend company policies, fill in forms)
- Ability to deal with customer complaints to bring about a win/win result
Preferred Criteria
- Retail industry experience
- Previous experience with rostering staff
- Experience using point of sale systems
