• $64,002 – $69,019 (Pro Rata)

The Role

As the Customer Service Officer you will:

• Greet and assist Council’s customers with a range of enquiries, including general queries of Council services such as waste management, rates and dog registrations
• Provide preliminary assistance to customers with queries on routine zoning, planning and building requirements
• Receipt and process customer payments
• Receive and appropriately lodge service requests and licencing applications

Skills & Experience
The successful applicant will have the following:

• Completion of a relevant qualification and/or relevant experience in a similar role
• Ability to effectively engage with a diverse customer base and strong cash handling and balancing skills
• Proficiency in the use of Office 365 applications, and the ability to work across specialised business systems
• Strong problem solving skills and ability to use initiative to manage multiple tasks
• Comittment to upholding Council values of Safety, Integrity, Teamwork, Service Excellence and Continuous Improvement
