About the role
Alan Walker Village is a retirement village with 215 independent living units and well-established in the Carlingford area. The village staff provide residents with a safe, welcoming community where they can access a range of support services that enhance their physical, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing
The Customer Service Officer is responsible for providing accurate and efficient accounts and administrative and general clerical support for the Village and the residents of the Village. Provide administrative support to the Village Manager to ensure all legislated requirements are met within the required timeframes.
Situated in reception, the Customer Service Officer is the first person visitors and prospective residents meet face to face and on the telephone.

Essential skills/knowledge
Certificate III in Business Administration (or willingness to obtain)
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and PeopleSoft Financial solution
customer focus.
Desirable skills/knowledge
sound working knowledge of the Retirement Village Act (1999) and Retirement Villages Regulations (2009).
not-for-profit or cause-related industry experience
current driver’s licence
First Aid Certificate.
