The Opportunity
Based from Southport, this is your opportunity to work for our Apprenticeship Network Provider (ANP) Division, Australia's largest and only national ANP.
Reporting to the Customer Service Manager Mentoring Services, you will be an important Customer Service Officer, responsible for providing internal and external clients quality Customer Service with the ability to build rapport quickly to identify mentoring issues.
This exciting role is fast paced, highly rewarding and involves inbound and outbound servicing to provide support and mentoring to our apprentices, trainees and clients. The purpose is to assist the apprentice, trainee and employer to complete their Australian Apprenticeship. This role will also involve administration and compliance and the ability to meet KPI’s. This is where one of MEGT’s key value Courage will be needed, as you guide your clients to persevere through obstacles and help them achieve their career goals.
About you
You will have experience in a similar environment ideally within employment services, community services or a call centre environment. You must be able to demonstrate the ability to engage, respect and support customers of diverse demographics and social backgrounds with a strong focus on youth including:
- Demonstrated ability to foster positive relationships with various external stakeholders including apprentices, employers, and parents/guardians
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to provide exceptional mentoring and guidance
- Strong problem solving skills and ability to interpret and assess information
- Proven experience in meeting set targets, KPIs and Customer Service standards
- Previous experience in youth/social work highly regarded
