Customer Service Officer (Science)

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer (Science) to join one of our government clients for an immediate start for a period of 6 months (with possible extension).

The Role

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide professional service to existing and new customers including enquiries, quotations, analysis requirements, field sampling services, sample submissions, test results and other related queries
• Coordinating with customers on the analysis services and test results
• Provide technical advice
• Identify different analytical needs and recommend testing requirements
• Organise relevant testing and liaise with internal labs
• Complete follow ups in regard to sample status and reporting
• Liaise with customers regarding invoice enquiries
• Liaise with laboratory teams to follow up sample status

Experience Required

We are seeking applications from candidates who bring:

• Tertiary qualifications in science or related field with experience
• Previous experience working in Customer Service roles
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy with an eye for detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Pro active and reliable
• Demonstrated experience in Laboratory Information Management Systems
• Experience in using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tools
