Customer Service Officer

Plastec Australia operates from the Sunshine Coast and is one of Australia's leading manufacturers and distributors of plastic plumbing fittings.  Plastec designs, manufactures and distributes a product range of over 2000 plumbing fittings, to both national and international markets.

Reporting to the Office Manager, this internal sales position will be responsible for assisting with the efficient running of the Customer Service department.  As the first point of contact, the duties for this pivotal role will include, but are not limited to; building sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders, responding to customer enquiries and call management in a timely manner, along with the accurate data processing of sales orders, checking of returns and general administration tasks.

• Excellent problem solving skills
• Self-motivated with the talent to work both autonomously and as part of a team

Essential criteria:

• Accurate data entry with the ability to self-check 
• Proficient Microsoft Office skills, Microsoft Navision experience will also be highly regarded.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Friendly phone manner
• Able to multi-task and prioritise in a busy work environment
• Excellent process-orientated organisational abilities
• Experience in the plumbing industry is not necessary, however an interest to gain product knowledge will be beneficial.
