The role
As a first point of contact for our customers, this role will see you handle a high-volume of inbound customer calls - assisting them with a variety of banking enquiries including internet banking, credit cards and transaction accounts. Customers may also contact us with account balance enquiries, requests to change their internet banking details, or report a lost card or make a payment.

A typical day for me will look like:
- Providing solutions for our customer's enquiries through your knowledge of NAB's suite of products and services
- Following up any issues that arise during a call with a customer
- Escalating calls to other departments as necessary
- Working to a rostered, highly scheduled environment
What skills & attributes will I need?
- A genuine appetite to speak with customers, help them achieve their financial goals and a will to surpass their expectations
- Resilience, flexibility and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems whilst maintaining a personable phone manner and attention to detail
- Someone who thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced and supportive team environment
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening and written)
- The ability to work in a hybrid environment - both from home and in the office
- A positive attitude with a genuine passion to start a career in Banking
Our Contact Centre is open Monday
- Friday (8am
- 7:15pm) and Saturday
- Sunday (9am
- 6pm).
The shifts we have available are across Thursday to Monday within the hours of 9am
- 6pm.
Whilst this role allows for a mix of on-site and remote working, we would require you to be on-site for all training as this works best in-person.
