Cyber Security Analyst

Are you a seasoned and experienced Cyber Security professional with strong GRC skills and in particular third party risk assessment expertise?
 
The focus of the contract initially will be:

• Conducting technology risk assessments, including security impact assessments, third-party risk assessments, information asset risk assessments, and product evaluations.
• Identifying and devising treatments and controls for identified technology risks.
• Ensuring technology risks, treatments, and controls are documented and communicated to stakeholders appropriately.

As a seasoned cyber professional, you will be used to very quickly grasping what needs to be done and delivering outcomes with little direct supervision or support.
 
You will therefore demonstrate:

• Comprehensive experience undertaking risk assessments.
• Comprehensive knowledge of security frameworks, threat models, controls, and best practices in cybersecurity.
• Sound technical familiarity with IT systems, cloud service models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS etc), networks, and software to understand the technical aspects of the solution/scenario being assessed.
• Experience in identifying and evaluating risks based on potential impact and likelihood of threats.
• Excellent internal and external stakeholder influencing and management capability.

With a great culture and a strong track record of investment in its Information Technology capability, there is strong potential for contract extension or even an ongoing permanent appointment for the right person. Should the contract be extended the opportunity exists to expand the scope of the role across a broader range of GRC activities.
