What you’ll do
The Data Analyst will be a key member in the analytics and across the HealthyLife business and will involve providing support with reporting solutions and insights to various business areas of HealthyLife.
- Efficiently create and maintain transformed views & dashboards for operational & financial metrics, product, business and and to provide self-serve access to frequently used data, insights and perspectives. Dive deep to understand their domains and needs, and collaborate to bring insights that support decision making.
- Quickly and accurately extract meaningful, relevant insights from data. Uncover and share clear conclusions and recommendations for action
- Do the right amount of thinking upfront to identify how to best measure performance and experiments – what are we really trying to understand and what data will we need to build that understanding
- Be curious, interrogate data beyond the surface level.
- Share your unique expertise and perspective. You will contribute to Healthylife’s product and service design by raising ideas, challenging ideas, and collaborating with the team to drive better outcomes.
What you’ll bring
We are looking for a curious minded individual, who is excited by the challenge of working in a startup environment and who is comfortable collaborating with coworkers from different domains, and can bring a structured approach to problem solving.
We are also looking for a candidate who can identify and communicate meaning through data. Rather than just seeing numbers, you see the overall story and can share that insight with others.
- Intermediate to advanced SQL is required, together with an ability to manage large, complex and possibly incomplete or sparsely documented data sets.
- Business intelligence & visualisation experience (We use Looker Studio but any experience with other tools such as Tableau, Power BI and others will work)
- Exceptional judgement and decision-making skills, able to prioritise the critical few things to achieve real impact.
- Strong communication skills that enable you to collaborate across multiple functions and teams. Able to build rapport, identify needs, deliver proposals, and constructively challenge our thinking.
- Knowledge and exposure to any of the technologies and processes involved in digital analytics within ecommerce (particularly Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) would be highly beneficial but not essential. This is an area we can support you to develop your skills in.
