As a Data Analyst, your role will be responsible for data management and reporting from a diverse range of existing and self-generated data sets. You will utilise trend analysis to identify areas for data management and quality improvement, developing workable, low-risk solutions to support ongoing business improvement processes.
To succeed in this endeavour, you will:
- Oversee the generation, input, storage, extraction, transformation, loading, and reporting of a diverse range of datasets.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to deliver regular updates on progress and performance, while identifying any gaps, risks, or issues.
- Develop and maintain high-quality data-driven decision support products to drive positive outcomes for the organisation.
- Consolidate various financial resources and delineate their differences.
- Carry out audits on programme finances to identify instances of overspending or underutilisation.
- Develop a data model to analyse supply versus demand across multiple financial years, pinpointing critical unfunded projects.
- Analyse and interpret data to provide insights and support decision-making processes.

We’re looking for:
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a professional services firm or the Defence industry.
- Demonstrated understanding of relational data structures and advanced Excel and Power BI skills, including workbook functions, pivot tables, charts, Power Query editor, and advanced transformations.
- Strong problem-solving skills, enabling you to develop effective solutions to complex data-related challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both in written and verbal form.
- You must hold a current NV1 security clearance or higher.
