Manager - Data Enablement

The Data Enablement Manager is accountable for the strategy, architecture design in partnership with DET, and processes to provide customer data for the digital and customer marketing programs. Working in partnership with the manager, martech to ensure teams are enabled through fit-for-purpose technology and provision of data to achieve marketing targets. This is achieved by ensuring governance over the design & configuration of processes and technology solutions, leading subsequent projects and/or BAU activities that maintain & enhance the technology stack. This role is also focuses on advancing Brand & Marketing towards a data maturity & compliance target state, achieved by completing activities on the data maturity roadmap.
- With a new function combining Data Enablement and campaign analysts, build a Data Enablement strategy and be accountable for the safe, timely and accurate provision of customer data across both digital and customer marketing.
- Work with architects to transform our current data pipelines into a fit for purpose, streamlined enablement that meets digital and customer marketing targets.
- Manage a team to deliver on the strategy ensuring skills are fit for purpose and current.
- Responsible for providing leadership of the Group's customer data capability development (technology, skills processes). Ensure fit for purpose to enable customer, marketing and distribution strategies that underpin Suncorp's business plan.
- Define roadmap for Data Enablement and build business cases for investment.
- Lead the implementation and operation of defined capability.
- Oversee design, governance and standardisation of data collection; segmentation and business rules; maintenance, monitoring and quality control of data.
- Ensure data is available and of sufficient quality for wide consumption throughout the marketing teams for 1-1 campaigns, reporting and actionable insights.
- Collaborate with wider team to identify new capability to help meet program aspirations.
- Interface into Technology, and martech team to support stack.
- Lead implementation for defined Data Enablement roadmap
- Understand digital marketing use cases across all paid, owned and outbound channels and ensure Data Enablement support delivery.
- Identify and manage compliance and privacy policy formation.
- Ensure Marketing Technology supports delivery of program ROI.
- Work collaboratively with Platform and wider Marketing Automation teams to help deliver seamless customers experiences.
- Communicate with influence to relevant stakeholders to ensure the BCX program of work is able to deliver and realise benefits.
- Work across BCX across the group collaboratively to solve issues, take opportunities and promote new ideas for consideration.

- Tertiary qualification in Marketing/Business/IT Mandatory
- 8+ years business experience (including 3+ years related technical experience)
- Highly effective communication and consulting skills
- Strong relationship and influencing skills.
- Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills
- Expert in designing and implementing and managing an ecosystem of connected digital capabilities (e.g., Adobe Marketing Cloud, analytics / measurement / optimisation solutions)
- Planning, organising and attention to detail to manage a wide range of responsibilities.
- Proven ability to effectively delegate tasks to direct reports and other business stakeholders while providing the necessary level of guidance, support and supervision.
- Work collaboratively across a wider stakeholder group
- Experience with managing & connecting data & capability sets across front end experience systems.
- Advanced project management skills and experience
