Data & Reporting Analyst

As a Senior Data & Reporting Analyst your focus is on data enhancement activities bringing quality and efficiency to how data insights are derived and managed.  Working with raw data, you will model, analyse and interpret various data sources, building reporting to drive decision making and support business improvement initiatives.
  
Day to day your role will:

• Contribute to maturing data quality, profiling, interpretation, data sharing & Reporting
• Gather raw data from a range of sources
• Engage stakeholders to understand reporting requirements
• Implement data collection systems
• Perform data cleansing and validation activities
• Design and develop insights and performance reports and dashboards in PowerBi
• Conduct analysis on trends and patterns
• Develop requirements documents to support data onboarding and modelling
• Work with technical stakeholders as the SME for data and reporting initiatives
• Drive regulatory compliance

The ideal candidate will have Tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance or Commerce.  You’ll bring previous experience in Data and Reporting Analytics gained in a large commercial complex environment.

In addition, you’ll demonstrate:

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• A specialisation in data management and dashboard development using PowerBi
• Experience working with large data sets
• Strong data management and reporting technology knowledge (SQL pref)
• Ability to gather user requirements
• Advanced systems skills (Exce)
