About this role
The Data Sourcing Manager is primarily responsible for the management of data provision and data related correspondence in the Centre for Health Record Linkage (CHeReL), in accordance with the requirements of researchers and government stakeholders. This position will focus on the sourcing and management of primary care and cross-agency data provision and other related health datasets.

- Experience in undertaking data manager, data analyst, systems or database administrator, or similar roles.
- Demonstrated experience in scripting and using SAS and SQL query languages, and preferably experience using scripting languages such Python, R, or PowerShell.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills and experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with an ability to prioritise, multi-task, achieve business goals, perform, and always collaborate with a customer driven approach.
- Well-developed organising, analytical thinking and critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to successfully manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal and supervision skills, and the ability to communicate with technical and non-technical personnel.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Understanding of Information Security, Privacy and confidentiality requirements and legislation.

New applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.
Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
