ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE?
An exciting opportunity for a Distribution Centre operator (Warehouse Team Member) is now available for immediate start!
Our Retail Team Members are at the forefront of making life fantastic for our customers by providing an exceptional experience at every touch point. In this varied role, you will have an opportunity to learn all Warehouse operations, (including further exposure to our store/showroom operations), work collaboratively with passionate team members and explore plenty of opportunities to advance your career.
* Work in all departments within Distribution Centre (inbound, outbound, HD, FLF) as required
* High reach and order picker license required
* Unloading and loading of containers and truck both manually and with MHE
* Periodic stock checks
* Pre-start MHE checklists conducted
* Housekeeping and cleaning duties
* Use of other electronic equipment – i.e. scanners
* Work within a team environment
* Forklift operation
* Take direction from Team Leaders, Supervisors and DC management team
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for team members who are passionate about delighting customers, want to grow their career, and can be relied on to support our teams – sometimes at short notice.
You may bring with you some experience from a warehouse or labour related role, but we are also interested in speaking to people who are keen to bring transferable skills with them.
We encourage you to apply if you have the following skills.
* Forklift license required.
* Experience in Warehousing and Distribution Environment
* WHS knowledge
* RF systems knowledge
* Basic written and verbal communication skills
* Basic numerical skills
As this role requires physical activity, you will enjoy being ‘on the go', and will need to be prepared to undergo a pre-employment medical check to ensure that you can safely perform the inherent requirements of the position.
