About the role:
The Demand & Supply Planner is responsible for the end-to-end planning. This includes demand planning, supply planning, co-pack management and lifecycle management of products. This covers all allocated business units. The role reports into the Demand & Supply Planning Manager AU/NZ.
Key Responsibilities:
Supply Planning
- Raising Purchase orders in line with Demand
- Ensure case fill above agreed target by business unit.
- Maintenance of all SAP contracts/pricing/source lists
- Consolidation of all Raw Chemicals orders
- Managing inventory levels to minimizing obsolescence
- Set up/Manage products in SAP
- Ownership of forecast error monthly result
- Consolidation of sales information/Promotional schedule
- Review of sales activities and forecasts Leading S&OP process (Forecast alignment)
- Reduce late orders/airfreight through more accurate/timely planning
- Manage long term planning
- New line launches, discontinuations, version changes
- Managing inventory levels minimizing obsolescence
- Coordination of promo packs; packing and dispatching
- Prioritizing production of local re-work
- Assisting Sales & Marketing identifying potential high stock levels
- Manage production scheduling to demand plan
- Demand plan raw materials to forecast requirements in SAP
- Measure/Formalize supply plan with contract manufacturer
- Prioritization of production schedule
Skills & Experience:
- Planning experience: 5 years +
- Forecasting experience: 3 years +
- Tertiary qualifications in supply chain, business administration or economics – similar preferred, but not essential
- ERP system knowledge
- Advance Excel skills to analyze data and present/influence business decisions
Nature of contract:
It is initially a 9-month contract covering Parental leave with the opportunity to extend beyond this.
