Position Overview:
Support the Cygnett Global S&OP process through the development, communication and implementation of accurate & timely Demand & Supply plans for Cygnett’s International customer base throughout NZ, UK, EU and USA.
This role will be instrumental in ensuring smooth operations in delivering our quality products at the right time in the right volumes to meet our customer demands and supporting our business to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development & ownership of rolling 6-12 month International Demand & Supply plans in collaboration with Global Sales, Product and Customers
- Identify, review, challenge and validate International Demand & Supply planning assumptions applied in developing regional channel demand plans
- Champion the global S&OP process & calendar across the International business with key stakeholders – including all reporting and meetings
- Lead International demand planning channel / customer review meetings – support the monthly global demand sign off process with senior management
- Lead the International supply planning process - identifying projected supply gaps & implementing corrective action with International Sales & Logistics
- Support the International product lifecycle process by developing new product launch demand plans and collaborating with key International stakeholders to identify & action poor SKUs to minimise SLOB inventory
- Liaise with the Global Quality Team to ensure all products launched and sold through our international regions are fully compliant with local regulations
- Ongoing review and maintenance of ERP & Planning system data, assumptions and functionality to support optimal supply planning and purchasing outcomes
- Support S&OP reporting of overall performance and KPI’s
Qualifications & Capabilities:
- Bachelor Business (Logistics & Supply Chain Management) or similar
- Minimum 3-5 years Consumer Goods demand and supply planning experience
- Thorough understanding of end to end S&OP processes – including product, demand, supply and inventory management
- Strong formal systems capability and experience (SAP, Planning Systems)
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
- Organised & able to manage multiple priorities in a fast moving environment
- Effective communicator comfortable engaging internal & external stakeholders
- Analytical, curious fact based approach to identifying and solving problems
- Attention to detail & accuracy – especially master data
- Customer first approach
