About the role: Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, the Demand Planner will be responsible for the generation of a consensus-based demand forecast for all domestic and international sales channels.
This collaborative role requires attention to detail and the ability to partner and influence key stakeholders including sales, marketing, finance, and supply chain.
As a key business partner to the sales team, you will work extensively with National Business Managers, State Managers and International Sales Managers to improve the accuracy of our sales forecasts, whilst also playing a key role in driving the ongoing improvement of our Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes.
As part of the Supply Chain team, you will work as part of the Planning Team and extensively with the Supply Planner/Scheduler to effectively manage our demand and supply balancing needs across the business, to proactively identify opportunities, flag imbalances, minimise business costs and optimise customer service levels.
About you: The successful candidate will be highly motivated and have a strong demand planning experience within the FMCG/ Consumer goods industry and a solid understanding of all elements of the Supply Chain function. You will have a Degree or be ASCI qualified, preferably economics, supply chain management, finance or related business field. You will also have:

Demonstrated results working in a team-based, cross functional environment, with a detailed, multi-step S&OP process
Hands-on experience in ERP’s and demand planning and simulation systems or tools (JDE, SAP, Demantra or equivalent)
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in PC-based applications (such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word and/or Access)
Current drivers’ licence.
