About the Practice:
Our Bupa Dental Warringah Mall practice is well known for its cosmetic dentistry, orthodontics, implants and general dentistry. We are a solid, stable team looking for an experienced Clinical Coordinator as we prepare for a significant growth in customer volumes.
As a full-time Clinical Coordinator in our practice, you will:
- Clinical Coordination: manage clinical staff, run clinical team meetings, liaise between the Practice Principal, Practice Manager, front office staff and the clinical team.
- Dental Assisting: ability to assist with implant surgery, periodontal surgery, and more: ability to train other team members in all procedures
- High-end patient care: building & maintaining relationships with all clients in a friendly and caring manner
- Stock management
- Maintain and implement procedures relating to the clinic
- Provide instrument sterilisation and infection control solutions
- Implementing, monitoring and reporting of repairs and maintenance across the practice
- Rostering staff and assisting with training and career progression of the team
You'll be:
- Experience in a busy dental practice, ideally as a Clinical Coordinator or senior dental assistant
- Available to work a full-time roster, 38 hours per week.
- Cert III in Dental Assisting is advantageous
- Proven record in time management & organisation skills
- Excellent professional bearing, highly developed communication and interpersonal skills: ability to motivate others
- History of staff and clinical management
- A keen eye for detail, great organisation and time management skills as well as an ability to multi-task
- Ability to set an example for others (i.e. punctuality, skills, work ethic)
