Job Title: Dental Receptionist/Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Dental Receptionist/Assistant with Dental Assisting skills to work in a transdisciplinary Aboriginal Community Controlled Dental Clinic. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and assisting with dental procedures in a fast-paced clinic setting.

Skills:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- Strong organisational abilities

- Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures

- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively

- Proficiency in computer software programs such as Microsoft Office

Responsibilities:

- Greet patients and visitors in a professional manner

- Schedule appointments and manage patient records

- Assist dentists with chairside duties during procedures

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and clinic rooms

- Process payments, insurance claims, and other financial transactions

Qualifications:

- Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience

- Previous experience working as a dental receptionist or assistant preferred

- Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and responsive to community needs is essential
