Our Community Facilities Department has an exciting opportunity for a suitably experienced, enthusiastic, and highly motivated Departmental Administration Officer – Community Facilities, based in Moranbah, to join the team on a fixed term, full-time basis.
The Departmental Administration Officer – Community Facilities position provides high level administrative, project management and business support to the Manager Community Facilities, and the Department as a whole. While the position primarily reports to the Manager Community Facilities, it also has an accountability reporting line to the Executive Coordinator PECS for the standards of administrative, reporting and financial/procurement process rigor within the Department, and to ensure appropriate gatekeeping for and compliance with these standards are being maintained.

- Demonstrated knowledge of administrative processes (Microsoft applications), including letter preparation, preparation of documents, meeting minutes, compiling memos, email management, photocopying, general financial processes and spread sheeting.
Mandatory requirements:
- The role requires the possession of a current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence.
For this position we offer:
- Salary $83,320.05 - $89,940.83 per annum (Stream A, Level 4 – 5)
- Full Time Fixed Term (through to: 4 October 2024)
- 72.5 hours over a 9-day fortnight
- 5 weeks annual leave pro-rata @ 17.5% loading
- 15 Days’ personal leave per annum
- Up to 13.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
