The Role
The Deputy Director Learning Systems is responsible for the ongoing management, quality control and continuous improvement of the Cadet Program and Adult Program conducted by the Australian Air Force Cadets (AAFC).
They will be required to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders consisting of Air Force and wider ADF cadet and training organisations, contracted staff, and the AAFC in managing the Cadet and Adult Programs.
They will be responsible for AAFC policy regarding AAFC learning and training.
Beyond the ongoing management of cadet and adult learning is the responsibility for the identification and implementation of new learning requirements and how these are to be integrated across the AAFC. This includes but is not limited to relevant learning documentation, business cases, change proposals, implementation strategies and associated reports and briefs.
The Deputy Director Learning Systems is the CB-AF learning representative on relevant boards and working groups.

The AAFC is an organisation of over 10,000 cadets and 1,200 adult volunteers dispersed across Australia. The Deputy Director Learning Systems leads a diverse team of ADF members, APS members and volunteer staff to manage learning programs and the learning system in which they reside.
