The opportunity
As one of the largest private employers in the ACT, we have an awesome opportunity for an experience Registered Nurse to partner up with another Deputy Director of Nursing! As part of a dynamic DDON duo, you will provide leadership, support, and guidance to clinical and care employees to achieve quality outcomes. Responsibilities include mentoring, developing skill competencies, establishing appropriate team behaviour, and maintaining open lines of communication.
Continually improving our clinical care quality standards and empowering our staff to ensure we deliver a high level of care underpins the success of Goodwin being the longest-standing retirement living and Aged Care provider in Canberra.
What's needed to succeed with us...
- Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with the National Nurses and Midwives Registration Board (AHPRA) + Post Graduate qualification in health services management or equivalent
- Minimum THREE years professional practice as Registered Nurse in Australia
- Evidence of extensive operational management experience in a care facility encompassing - Administration, HR Management, and health service delivery
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of current clinical practice, its delivery, and models of care
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to motivate and inspire Team Members to achieve organisational outcomes including implementation of change processes
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
