Form of workSt Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School is an independent day and boarding school for over 1450 girls from Kindergarten to Year 12. We provide girls with opportunities to pursue personal and academic excellence in a respectful and supportive environment.
We are looking for a Design Technologies (Home Economics) Assistant to join our team. The Design Technologies Assistant is responsible for the preparation of food and equipment for class demonstrations and practical lessons by academic staff.
The successful applicant will have:
- A keen interest in food technology, preparing food and setting up rooms with food and equipment for classes.
- Ability to follow a schedule, prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- A knowledge of food hygiene and occupational health and safety.
- Experience and a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Relevant experience in the education sector is desirable.
This is a fulltime role working term-time only.
