Developer Programmer
As a Developer Programmer you would Interpret specifications, technical designs and flow charts, build, maintain and modify the code for software applications, construct technical specifications from a business functional model, and test and write technical documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Researching, consulting, analyzing and evaluating system program needs.
- Identifying technology limitations and deficiencies in existing systems and associated processes, procedures and methods.
- Testing, debugging, diagnosing and correcting errors and faults in an applications programming language within established testing protocols, guidelines and quality standards to ensure programs and applications perform to specification.
- Writing and maintaining program code to meet system requirements, system designs and technical specifications in accordance with quality accredited standards.
- Writing, updating and maintaining technical program, end user documentation and operational procedures.
- Providing advice, guidance and expertise in developing proposals and strategies for software design activities such as financial evaluation and costing for recommending software purchases and upgrades.
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in IT highly regarded.
- Business orientation with strong IT background.
- 3+ years' experience in development or Support in a Financial Services, bank, cards, payments or any other domain.
- Proven work experience as a developer in front end technologies HTML, CSS, Javascript, AngularJS or ReactJS.
- Experience on Java, NodeJS or Dotnet.
- Experience on Microservices, API, Spring, Springboot.
- Experience using operating systems like UNIX, Linux or Windows is good to have.
- Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodology is desirable.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex software issues.
- Good communication skills.
