The purpose of the position is to provide civil engineering advice on design and construction approval processes related to new developments in our growth and established areas.
The engineering approvals of detailed design documentations and civil construction activities (earthworks, roads, drainage and general miscellaneous civil works) will be required to be conducted in accordance with Council policy and standards, corporate direction, statutory requirements and industry Best Practice. As a key member of the Development Engineering Unit within the Urban Design & Transport department, you will be responsible for: Providing high quality, innovative and solution focused engineering assessments and advice in relation to the forward planning of established and growth areas and the construction of Council’s new assets; Ensuring that design assessments and construction approvals are provided within required timeframes and in accordance with industry best practice and Council…
