Menzies Foundation – Digital Communications Coordinator

The Digital Communications Coordinator will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Foundation’s communication strategy. Reporting to the Strategic Communications Manager, this position is responsible for enhancing the organisation’s digital presence, engaging with multiple audiences across various platforms, and contributing to the overall communication strategy of the Foundation.
The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, creative professional with a proven track record in Digital Communications, content creation, and social media management. The successful applicant will play an important role in a small, nimble and dynamic team where an all-hands-on deck approach is essential.
Ideally the Digital Communications Coordinatorwill commence with us in April 2024 and work approx 20 hours per week (flexible days). The role will be established as a 2 year contract position.
Key selection criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Digital Communications or marketing, with a strong portfolio of past work.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and proven experience in Social Media management.
- Proficiency in digital analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) and content management systems.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce content for various digital platforms.
- Experience with graphic design and video editing software, such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and others.
- Excellent organisational, time management, and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
