About the role
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Digital Content Producer located in Sydney, NSW, with flexibility for WFH days. As a Digital Content Producer, you will be responsible for day-to-day content production, including writing articles, creating videos, developing content strategies, managing content, and ensuring the website is up to date with the latest industry information. Key responsibilities include:
Content Strategy and Creation
- Produce and manage a daily newsletter.
- Oversee the creation of high-quality, engaging content, including articles, features, and multimedia assets.
- Collaborate with the Editor to ensure content relevance, accuracy, and engagement.
Digital Asset Management
- Optimise digital assets, including website content, for SEO and user experience.
- Monitor website performance metrics, analyse data, and implement strategies to improve traffic and engagement.
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to maintain website functionality and implement new features.
- Stay updated on new technologies that may be useful.
Audience Engagement and Social Media
- Daily management of social media channels to increase audience reach, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Manage Architecture & Design’s social media channels with at least one daily post to boost engagement.
Podcast Pre & Post-Production
- Research and coordinate guests for the Talking Architecture & Design podcast, including administrative tasks like scheduling.
- Develop and pitch ideas to commissioners.
- Write initial scripts for upcoming interviews.
- Troubleshoot recording issues, upload content, and write accompanying blurbs.
- Manage the podcast web page and database, and oversee the sponsored podcast schedule.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B writing and ideally, basic understanding of podcasting principles.
- Proven experience as a Digital Editor, Content Manager, or similar role in the digital media industry.
- Solid understanding of SEO, digital analytics, and content management systems (CMS).
- Interest in the architecture and design industry.
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media and podcast platforms and audience engagement strategies.
- Ideally, Bachelor’s, Master’s degree, or Graduate Diploma in Digital Media, Journalism, Communications, or a closely related field
